Attractions:

1. Screamers Haunted House

If you're tired of the sunshine and the roar of the Falls , why not try walking in total darkness while scary monsters leap out at you? That's the gist of this haunted house, where you never know what will come at you next and what will send you screaming towards the exit. But don't worry, you simply yell out "screamers" and the ordeal is over;you'll simply join thousands of others on the Chicken List.

2. Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens

Run by the Niagara Parks Commission , these stunning botanical gardens feature more than 40 hectares (100 acres) of meticulously kept gardens attracting more than one million visitors annually. Gardens include herb, vegetable, rock and arboretum for trees and shrubs. The gardens, in existence since 1936, are maintained by students at the School of Horticulture on the grounds. The gardens are also the location for the Butterfly Conservatory.

3. Niagara's Floral Clock

A premier horticultural attraction. Built in 1950, the clock is one of the largest in the world at 40 feet in diameter. The floral face of the clock is changed twice per season. There are over 16,000 plants covering the clock. The grounds surrounding the clock feature many bedding displays.

4.  Willoughby Historical Museum

Situated in a quintessential red brick rural schoolhouse a few kilometers south of the Falls along the Niagara River Parkway, this museum features artifacts dating back to the late 1700s and some as recent as the 1960s. Aside from collecting, housing, displaying and interpreting historic treasures from the region, the museum also hosts numerous events throughout the year related to the history and culture of the region. Among these are weavers' guild works, classic cars, fairs, and antique gas-powered engines.

5. Skylon Tower
Towering 236 meters (775 feet) above the Falls , this tower is so high and close to the border, it needed special permission from both Canadian and U.S. authorities to be built. It has three glass-encased elevators that bring you to a top-floor observation deck, two restaurants; the Revolving Dining Room and the Summit Suite Dining Room ; a shopping center and a large amusement arcade. You can see up to 100 kilometers (80 miles) from the observation deck.

1.The 7 th Annual Vineyard Cycle Tour and Challenge - May 28
Test your endurance on one of three (25, 50, 75 km) routes and enjoy the beauty of the Niagara Parkway and the many wineries along the way. Last year, over 800 cyclists and volunteers took part in the cycle tour, returning to the historic Queenston Heights Park for a
picnic lunch, wine tasting, prizes and entertainment. All proceeds from this event go the Niagara Schools' Healthy Heart Program.
2. Cirque Niagara - May 20 - October 8
AVAIA , the new $10-million production will feature world-class cirque performers, equestrian theatrical riders and some of the world's rarest breeds of horses. Located under the Big Top (at Rapidsview Park ), the show will entertain 1500 guests twice a day, six days a week (excludes Mondays)
3. Niagara Flower and Garden Show - June 9 - 11
Calling all garden lovers! The show exhibits over 100 vendors with everything for the home gardener including the newest and trendiest plants, tools and accessories, featuring guest speakers and more held at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. Group packages are available including admission, attractions & dining.
4. Art in the Gardens - June 9, 10 and 11; July 8 and 9; August 12 and 13
The annual Spring Festival Art Show will be held in conjunction with the Niagara Flower & Garden Show. Featuring artwork by local Artisans from the Parkway Artist Guild, see the beauty of various art forms showcased in the dazzling manicured Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens and Arboretum. Kids can also try their hand at their own masterpieces using the natural beauty of the garden as their subject.
Visitors and art enthusiasts alike can saunter at leisure through the exhibits that are pleasantly laid out along the walkways that run throughout the 99 acre garden. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
5. Simcoe Day- August 5 -7
The Civic Holiday is also known as Simcoe Day. Celebrate by visiting the Mackenzie Printery & Newspaper Museum and learn how the nation's oldest printing press helped John Graves Simcoe shape the province of Upper Canada .
